PokerStars Carribean Adventure is all set to give players the goosebumps in Bahamas. Here’s what the schedule looks like!
With an action-packed event on the cards, the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure is returning for another season, starting the 6th of January in the sunshiny Bahamas, at the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort. As many as 31 distinct events are lined up until January 14, with plenty of entertainment to follow.
The 6-day $10,300 PCA Main Event is the key highlight of the schedule, featuring a couple of opening flights on the 8th and 9th of January. This is a deep stack tournament with the players beginning with an amount of chips higher in relation to the blind, and in this case, they will receive 30,000 chips, which will go up every hour on the 1st day, followed by 90 minutes on succeeding days.
With a whopping value of $14,855, the PCA Main Event package includes a ticket to the Main Event, accommodation in a lavish resort, access to the player’s party, $1000 cash folio and lots more on offer. In order to qualify for it, you can do so online at the PokerStars through sub-satellites and satellites. If you are looking to register onsite for the Main Event, the registrations will be open on 6th of January from 11:00, and for side events, it will close a day before the tournament.
Some other big buy-in events are also included in the schedule, with the biggest two of them taking place early in the program, including the $50,000 PCA High Roller and $100,000 PCA Super High Roller. As a thanksgiving to the continued support of players over the years, each tournament more than $10,000 in value will incur a subsidized admin fee, where the fee is capped at $300 down from $750, $1,500 and $2,000.
Any tournament with levels of 20 minutes or less, will have their admin fees cut down by 50%. It has been estimated that around $300,000 additional money will stay in the players pockets with these deductions during the event.
Low Stakes Gameplay
Over the tenure of its existence, PCA has not only been a highlight for High Stakes players, but also those with relatively lower bankrolls. Speaking of which, there is something for everyone to cheer about. Lower-limit players can also join in the action, with the live qualifiers starting at $160 and the tournament buy-ins starting at $330. As a player, even if you enter one of the events, you will be invited to play in the $50,000 PCA Freeroll tournament on the 14th of January.
Additionally, there are sit-and-go tournaments for those looking for a bit faster gameplay on the felt. With buy-ins starting for only $120, these tournaments run round the clock. Moreover, there will be cash games for all sorts of poker players, with stakes ranging from single digit to triple ones. It will include games such as Chinese poker, seven-card stud, limit Omaha, pot-limit Omaha, limit Hold’em and no-limit Hold’em. You can win a handsome High Hand Bonus of a minimum $300 every hour, with the Hold’em and Omaha cash games.
